We provide outdoor fitness sessions around the Henley on Thames area. Operating in parks and alongside the River Thames we offer a fantastic way to get fit and lose weight in a supportive group environment whilst having great fun.
Our classes are based on military type exercises and we possess recognised fitness training qualifications. Our job is to help motivate you to achieve your goals!
Currently the average person spends more than 90% of their time indoors. The benefits of exercising outside are well documented and include:
- Beneficial effects of negative ions
- Benficial effects of natural sunlight
- Beneficial effects of natural terrain
- Beneficial effects of reconnecting to the outdoors
The classes are divided by ability and we work to the pace of all members of the group. FUN though is the most important ingredient.

Free Trial Session!
For your 1st session simply turn up at any of our venues at any session. Your first trial session is free.
Once you have signed up your name will appear on our register and we’ll tick you off each time you turn up.
Classes are £7.50 bookable in blocks of 6 (£45.00). These can be utilised at any time within a 3 month period. We will stress the obvious however that the more often you turn up the fitter you will become!
What should I wear?
A running kit or an old T-shirt and pair of shorts is ideal. Some exercises will involve getting down on the ground so be prepared to get at least a bit dirty – it’s part of the fun! Unfortunately we can’t guarantee the weather but we can guarantee that you’ll be sweating by the end of the session so make sure you have a warm top to put on after the session has finished. Some people also like to wear gloves and a hat in winter months.
What is a typical training session like?
There is no typical session. Each session is varied in order to keep you and your body interested. This is one of the benefits of our sessions – it’s a full cardiovascular WorkOUT. Lessons may include any of the following; team games, paired exercises, circuits, anaerobic or strength work and running.
Each class is divided into ability groups and starts with a warm up followed by at least 50 minutes of effective fitness training, ending with a cool down and stretch.
Instructors will work to the pace of the weakest member of the group, whist finding ways to keep the front runners working hard! FUN though is the most important ingredient!
I can hardly do one sit up, let alone 100! Is this for me?
YES! This is why our classes are divided into different ability groups – to enable everyone to raise their current level of fitness with a good WorkOUT, no matter what level they are at.
Do I need to check with a health professional before I sign up?
You should complete and sign a fitness/health questionnaire and hand it to your instructor before you start your first session. If in doubt, or you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions, we recommend you speak to your GP before attending. Women who are pregnant shouldn’t take part after Week 12.
Do I need to book specific classes?
No, once you have signed up for classes you will appear on our register and you can simply turn up at either of our venues at any session.
Do I need to attend a fitness assessment before starting training?
No, just turn up to any class for your free trial. We will hold regular voluntary fitness assessments which you can use to measure your progress.
Where do I put valuables or clothes for when I get warm?
Please try to avoid bringing valuables to the classes but if you do so, your instructor will be carrying a rucksack with them and items can be carried by them.
Do I need to bring my own water?
You’re welcome to bring your own water for before or after the session. Your instructor will carry plenty of water and there will be water breaks during the class. Please drink plenty of water before you arrive.
